READER EMAIL: Metallic Fur Uggs...

Hey!
Let me preface this by saying that I'm sorry for ruining your day. If you thought Uggs couldn't get any worse, I'm afraid you were a little too preemptively optimistic.

METALLIC UGGS
Excuse me, I left something out (as if that weren't enough:)
METALLIC FUR UGGS.
I saw a mid-twenties, otherwise pretty woman on the subway a few days ago, and I was shocked. Let's just saw I heard more than a few snickers as she stepped off the platform.
I couldn't get a picture, but it looked like a combination of these (see attached.)
I mean, I'm in eighth grade and I know this is wrong!
Sincerely,
Sarah C
(A very young and very disgusted ArmHe member)

Well Sarah, Thanks for the email. First off you didn't ruin He's day in fact you made it 100x better. Anytime someone joins the War on UGGS, He smiles a little bit bigger. The fact that the ArmHe has 8th grade members means that Fashion by He is reaching the youth of this world young enough to shape their little minds. Hopefully by the time these young ArmHe members grow up they will shape the fashion world under He's rule.

It is hard for He to even imagine combining metallic uggs and fur uggs. Just way too much to handle on a Monday. But yea there is no way that can possibly look good. Just another day of the War on Uggs in full affect, see someone in UGGS and point and laugh. Bingo!

P.S. Keep the emails and fashion pics coming He's way.

Might be He's Favorite Skirt of All Time...

Holy hell. As far as He is concerned this could be the hottest, sexiest, most ass amazing dress ever made. Bec & Bridge hit a f*cking home run. Now the odds are this model just has an amazing ass, and that 99% of the people who wear this won't look half as good, but if you got an ass, and you want the world to know it. He found the dress to make the ass and legs worth 10 points, no question.

It's Back to Rain in NYC...

This weather is absolutely killing Fashion by He, between the cold and now the rain, how the hell is a man suppose to get a decent picture of a poorly dressed girl? Had to go deep into the FbyHe archives to pick this old pic out that was never used. Made He a little sad because it's not yet spring/summer. Dresses, no jackets, big wedges, its coming, just not fast enough.

Lotsa Flowers

Ended up getting these from Amante hehehe...

The studded peep-toe booties was the best purchase as it was on discount...

And oh, Buffalo Wings & Rings is gooooood! Loved the chicken wings a lot...:)

Guess That Celebrity Style?

This is the grossest Guess That Celebrity Style? yet. Unfortunately this beauty went out on the town and apparently doesn't shave her legs first. Quick pause to give everyone a chance to whip the vomit off their chins. If a chick doesn't shave her legs, odds are nothing else is cleaned up either. Anyway the shoes are obviously hot, and she has amazing legs. Can you hat Celebrity Style?

The Answer: Irina Shayk. Sport Illustrated Swimsuit model, He happens to think its a great outfit from a distance. Gotta love the red skirt to match the bottom of the heels. Money. Stacked bracelets also a great addition. Unfortunately the hair issue really gets in the way.

It's Raining in NYC...Help He

It's not so easy to go outside an take pictures when it's f*cking pouring. Maybe some people in the ArmHe can help He out a little bit and send in some ridiculous fashion #fashionfails as you might call them. Help a King out will ya.

Acknowledging The Necessary

It's always interesting to bring up a topic about piracy in the context of women and fashion. Unlike guys who are more straightforward admitting that they buy pirated goods just for the sake of a cheaper price, women seem to have a more complex reasoning in their purpose and justifications.

Talking about buying pirated goods is not always about "I can afford" or "I can't afford". It's not always about the finance. It's about the thinking behind it. When I buy a fake good, I openly tell people that it's fake, and bought it just for fun because it was too cute and too cheap to simply miss. As wrong as this is, at least I don't run away from the fact that it was wrong. I admitted it. However, there are many people out there who buy fake goods and pretend that they're not. They act all expensive and classy and think that they're NOT wrong. It's like saying "this isn't red" while in fact everybody knows it's red and you yourself know as well.

It leads to a nowhere-point when we debate on "but you're rich and you can afford while I can't but i want to look just as stylish". It's not a matter of social status, economy class or the action itself, but a simple thought & act of taking responsibility. The richest people can buy fake goods after all. But then what would matter is how they respond and take responsibility of their actions; to admit or to fake it.

Be 100% original inside and outside, peeps. But it's always more important to start from the inside...:)

Pencils & Me

Ice Cream Pop-Ups

I love love love Magnum ice cream. In fact, my family is a HUGE fan of Magnum.

There was this one time when I said to S, "you know, Magnum's Belgian chocolate is so good, they should actually just open an ice cream restaurant and serve Magnum-based desserts". And guess what? THEY DID! Ha!!

Today was the opening of Magnum Cafe at Grand Indonesia, 5th floor, and I got invited to experience the whole new Magnum concept. The place was gorgeous. And cozy. And nice. They had waffles, desserts, small bites and even drinks made out of Magnum ice cream. YUM.

This place is brilliant. And good. It's a pop-up cafe though, meaning it's not permanent, and will only be present for 3 months. You guys better try while it's there! :)
